A new figure painting.......

I have just been working on a new little figure painting based on a sketch that I posted the other day. All good learning.trying to capture a sense of form through colour..... Hmm :-)

Life drawing class. Wednesday evening

Had a very long few days at work so tonight was enjoyable. A great model to work with.  I brought some newsprint to work on with a conte 1730 b pencil. A good combination. Hope you like the images, any comments welcome

A quick sketch outside.

I an just enjoying the cold and warmth of the sun going behind clouds then reappearing.  I produced this little sketch of Carol.  I have started to use a conte 1710 B pencil. You get some fantastic matt blacks with it.
